Dinner Meeting Presentation
Abstract
The automotive industry, not unlike others,
is experiencing tremendous growth and opportunity
outside of the U.S. The result is more and
more projects requiring global collaboration.
This presentation will focus on how a particular
program within GM Powertrain was able to
successfully launch a new product while
facing the challenges of utilizing common
program management processes, tools, and
templates between the U.S. and the Asia-Pacific
region.
Specific practices and processes will be
highlighted, along with lessons learned,
that will provide participants with key
enablers and insight to methods for effectively
executing complex programs while working
within an extremely diverse team environment
