Dinner Meeting Presentation Abstract

In most organizations, the functional manager controls the resources required for projects and the Project Manager has little to no authority to obtain the resources when needed. How do you influence the functional manager to release the resources? Have you ever had the answer to a vexing problem and couldn't get anyone to listen to you to solve the issue? Are other, less capable individuals getting ahead and you're not? Could it be that you are your own nemesis? What can you do about this? The seminar is designed to help you in identifying the political landscape in organizations, the players and their styles, the steps you should consider to improve your own style and approach, and provide you with a roadmap to help you in achieving the influence you seek.
