Presentation Abstract

How can I become a good leader?  What will it take to earn the respect of my peers?  Do I have to be a top executive to influence the decisions that go on in the office?  Servant Leadership is a simple idea: that those who serve others first, and then choose to lead, can make the biggest difference in an organization and in people's lives.  Servant Leadership is not another management course or philosophy.  It requires people to honestly and genuinely look at their own personal character to see if what they are doing on a regular basis, as a "leader" in the organization is, indeed, contributing to the growth and happiness of those they work with.  Servant Leadership is a practical leadership approach based upon shared power, collaborative decision-making and rigorous honesty.
