Presentation Abstract
Cadillac has recently undergone an historic renaissance. In
1998, they were still defined by their stodgy image
and by dated products. Today, the claim of
performance luxury is credible, in part due to
the efforts of Team Cadillac in professional auto
racing.
Presentation will include detailed insight into
the racing program, and highlight lessons of Program
Management that have been learned. Issues
include cooperation among diverse groups inside
GM, defining project scope and clear goals, forming
a partnership with major suppliers, defining working
relationships and building trust, and execution
under intense pressure.
Perfection is never achieved, but we will address
our progress on that journey.
