Mr. Raghu Boda, PMP, has a Bachelors degree (Computer Science) from JNTU, India and a Masters degree from Central Michigan University , Michigan . He is a Senior Manager at Covansys Corporation and works at Henry Ford Health System (HFHS), Rochester Hills , MI . He has been with Covansys for 9 years. Prior to this, he worked for BHEL, a government of India enterprise. He has performed project/program roles including Project Team Lead, Project Management Office (PMO) support, and offered training and mentoring in the project management knowledge areas. He possesses a working knowledge of Project Life Cycle (PLC), Standards, Methodology and Project Management systems and tools. Raghu is a member of the PMI Great Lakes Chapter and actively participates and coordinates the activities of Academic Outreach Committee.

Occupation/Current Work: Information Technology Program Manager for GM OnStar. Independent consultant for Our Own Image.

Interests: Promoting IT PM within an educational setting.  Would like to teach IT Project Management at the college level when she retires. She enjoys landscaping and gardening, traveling, and exercising.

Occupation/Current Work: Project Analyst-Advanced, Electronic Data Systems (EDS) currently working in the program office for the GMNA SSA 2003 Contract Implementation group, supporting 6 project teams, focus in the following areas: Process Modeling, Scope Management, Integration Management

Interests: Would like to teach. Likes bowling, aerobics and dancing in her spare time.

First Joined PMI in 1983 and the PMI-GLC in 1986.

Leadership positions with PMI: Past Board Member of the Certification Board Center ("CBC") (2002 & 2003), Team Leader of the Certificate of Added Qualification Support Group (1999-2001), and a member of the PMP Certification Exam Committee (1997-2001). He is a Past Co-Chair of the PMI-Assembly of Specific Interest Group Chairs (1998- 1999), founder and past chair of the PMI-Manufacturing SIG (1995-1997), past Faculty Advisor of the PMI-Lawrence Tech University Student Chapter (1995-2001), and PMI-GLC Board Member as VP-Training & Professional Development (1992) and VP-Administration (1994). In September 2000, PMI honored him with their 2000 Distinguished Contribution Award.

Occupation/Current Work: Consultant, Trainer, Educator, Expert Witness and Practitioner in Project Management and Construction Engineering. Fulltime faculty member of Eastern Michigan University's College of Technology and instructs in Construction Management.

Interests: Full-time parenting.

Occupation/Current Work: Project Management Consultant, Gilgal, Inc. Business management, Project Management Methodology, improved on business model and processes.

Interests: Volunteers for a group called "African Missions"   that  have different programs to help  the needy/poor  in Africa   and has been on a mission trip to East Africa .  Other interests include traveling and  biking.

Joined PMI-GLC AOC in March 2004. Assigned to the Job-fair sub-committee. She is also a member of the Project Apollo team of the PMI-GLC, helping as a Content researcher.

Occupation/Current Work: Works for EDS-Electronic Data Systems ; supports the GM-Product Development Account.

Interests : Training and mentoring in Finance Management & the project management knowledge areas. She is always looking for opportunities to facilitate learning process either in her workplace or outside.

Performing arts - music, dance and theatre. She is actively involved in the local Indian Associations, taking every opportunity to keep her artistic talents alive.

 

Richard A. Weller, PMP, MBA

 

Volunteer for the Program and Portfolio Standards development project being developed by the Project Management Institute. Serves as the PMI Liaison for the Southeast Michigan Chapter of MPUG (Microsoft Project Users Group). Occupation/Current Work: Project Management consultant with Pcubed (Program Planning Professionals). Interests: Advancing the project management profession and looks for any opportunities to make that happen. Volunteers for multiple organizations, and what little time is left is devoted to being husband, Dad, and head of lawn, house and PC maintenance at the Weller household.
