A Message from the PMI GLC Vice President of Membership ………...

The first goal of the Project Management Institute (PMI) strategic plan is to "Strengthen stakeholder loyalty - improve the value to each stakeholder to insure satisfaction one customer at a time". The Great Lakes Chapter is working to support this goal through the various innovative new programs, excellent speakers and increased number of events offered by the chapter. The chapter offers training classes for beginner to advanced project managers, access to our job board, and many opportunities to earn PDUs. Chapter membership includes discounts to all chapter activities.

The chapter activities are influenced by the results of our annual All Member survey. But the chapter is always looking for ways to improve the value the chapter offers to its members. What programs do you want to see us offer? How can we help you improve your project management skills? How can we help you reach your career objectives in project management? What can we do to increase the value of project management in your company? Are there other ways we should offer PDUs? If you have ideas you would like to share, please contact a chapter officer. Our email addresses are on the chapter website at http://www.pmiglc.org/about/execcomm.html.

Advancing your project management skills is an important part of your career. With the limited time you have, we are grateful you have chosen the Great Lakes Chapter to build your project management professionalism. We want to insure your satisfaction with the chapter and you continue to be a member in the chapter. We look forward to seeing you at a chapter event and/or hearing your ideas. Your satisfaction is our goal!
