On behalf of Great Lakes Chapter, I would like to wish all of our members a happy and productive summer.  For those considering PMP certification, remember that PMI is transitioning the examination and will introduce the new exam, with many questions based on the new 3 rd Edition of the PMBOK Guide ® , late this summer.  All our future PMP Exam Review sessions, beginning with the next six-week session at CMU's Dearborn center beginning June 14, will use the 3 rd Edition as a reference.

Several members have told me they would like to see additional articles in the newsletter beyond what is available on the chapter's web site.  I agree, but the only way we get articles is if our members write them.  If you have something to say about any project management topic, especially if you think it will relate to our members who mostly live and work in southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio, please feel free to write an article and send it to our Director of Newsletter and Advertising, Arun Vinod Das, at advertising@pmiglc.org .
