2015 Symposium Keynote Speakers: Anthony Reed & Dr. Tony Zeiss
Anthony Reed, CPA, PMP has over 30 years of IT experience, including 25 in project management and executive positions. His area of expertise has been analyzing and implementing multi-million dollar, international applications for some of the DFW’s largest Fortune 500 companies. He’s been featured in business, IT, travel, and sports publications, including the PMI Today, Dallas Morning News, Runner’s World, Ebony, Southern Living, and the Journal of Accountancy.
He holds two graduate degrees (management and accounting) and two undergraduate degrees (management and mathematics). He’s taught undergraduate and graduate project management courses. And he’s authored five books and over 50 articles for publications ranging from ComputerWorld to Runner’s World. The second edition of his latest book, Running to Leadership: What Finishing 100+ Marathons On All Seven Continents Teaches Us About Success, was published in November, 2014.
Dr. Tony Zeiss has been a community college president for thirty years - serving in Colorado and North Carolina, an author, and noted speaker. His college, Central Piedmont Community College, serves 70,000 students, and has been named the community college of the year by the National Alliance of Business. Dr. Zeiss is broadly recognized as a national leader in professional development and leadership coaching. Dr. Zeiss has been recognized as the national CEO of the year, state CEO of the year in Colorado and North Carolina, and he chaired the board for the American Association for Community Colleges.
Dr. Zeiss has authored twenty books including several on professional development, educational and economic topics, American history, two novels, and several on helping people establish successful careers. He is a frequent keynote speaker at professional and trade associations.
