Director of Newsletter

 

The Newsletter Director works with the Advertising Director, Marketing and Promotion Director, Web Services Director, and the Communications VP to provide proper formatting and content of newsletter submissions. The position is a non-voting member of the Board of Directors which provides an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the PMIGLC leadership policies and procedures for the exposure and experience in communication and coordination. Key roles are:

  • Communication with committee members to coordinate a timely release;
  • Edit all submissions for proper content and flow;
  • Format the newsletter to be read comfortably;
  • Provide the communications committee with a draft prior to publication;
  • Update the format as determined by the committee;
  • Participate in setting PMIGLC communication strategies.
