Director of Financial Operations
The Director of Financial Operations works with the VP Finance
and performs the operational activities under the responsibility
of the VP Finance. Director of Financial operations is a
non-voting member of the Board of Directors. This is an excellent
opportunity to receive additional experiences and skills
while serving the PMI GLC and the Board of Directors
Description of Activities to be performed by Director of
Financial operations:
- MUST BE A GREAT LAKES CHAPTER MEMBER.
- Back-up to VP Finance.
- Perform the financial operations of the Chapter including
deposits and payments.
- Review expense reports and payments for appropriateness
with the VP Finance and responsible VP as necessary.
- Reconcile with the monthly bank statements.
- Prepare financial reports on the activities, performance
to budget and financial status of the Chapter.
- Prepare tax and financial reports and forms for the chapter
as required by PMI, local, state and federal governments.
- File "Subsequent Appointment of Agent - Michigan Corporation" to
change Statutory Agent reflecting change in elected Board
members. Ensure information on Statutory Agent is current.
