Roles & Responsibilities
Director of Awards
Director of Awards works with the VP of Administration to
submit Great Lakes Chapter (GLC) for various awards. Director
of Awards is a non-voting member of the Board of Directors.
This is an excellent opportunity to receive additional experiences
and skills while serving the PMI GLC and the Board of Directors.
Description of Activities to be performed by Director of
Awards:
- MUST BE A GREAT LAKES CHAPTER MEMBER
- Back-up to VP of Administration
- Prepare necessary documentation and submit
for awards - especially PMI awards
- Understand awards criteria well in advance
- Assist board members to complete necessary
steps within timeline specified in awards criteria to
maintain eligibility for the awards
- Assist project managers to prepare necessary
documentation as required by the awards e.g. project
plan
- Work with the VP of Administration to execute
and possibly refine the processes within the chapter
in order to make future awards submission easier
- Be willing to alternate taking meeting minutes,
with the VP of Administration, for the monthly PMI GLC
Board of Directors meetings
