Advanced Topics Seminars

 

Coordinates with VP of Professional Development, Director of Instructor Scheduling and Credentialing, and Director of Forums to handle education needs within the Great Lakes Chapter (GLC). Director of Advanced Topics is a non-voting member of the Board of Directors.

 

  • MUST BE A GREAT LAKES CHAPTER MEMBER.
  • Back-up to VP of Professional Development.
  • Overall responsibility for development of seminar (3-7 hours) content, within the Professional Development area. May expand offerings beyond 3 hour seminars.
  • Provides direction, oversight, quality assurance and integration of new seminar content.
  • Ensures quality of seminar delivery and content. Maintains and reports metrics to VP Prof Dev and BoD.
  • Specific focus on planning, scheduling, managing/coordinating, and presenting existing and new seminars that meet the interests and needs of PMP Certified and non-Certified Members, advanced and intermediate experienced members and non-members.
  • Proposals for new topics and schedules to be reviewed by the PD Committee consisting of all directors and managers.
  • Coordinates with Director of Instructor Scheduling and Credentialing and Director of Forums with recruiting efforts for instructor selection.
  • Coordinates with PD Committee on setting strategy.
