We are experiencing phenomenal changes that started with the banking crisis resulting in significant consequences that many of our current generation of Project Managers have never experienced. From Automotive, Banking, Energy to Health Care, the effects are being felt everywhere. Most importantly the PM Disciplines in the next decade are depending on these changes, specifically on the roles and responsibilities perspectives.

This year's Symposium offers an excellent opportunity in understanding the disciplines and their role in these difficult times. It also provides an opportunity to network within the PM community and to learn how the current economy has impacted Project Management in this volatile time.

Our exciting day will start off with a Morning Keynote speaker Tim McCormick. Scheduled throughout the day will be 12 speakers for you to choose from for your diverse needs in perfecting your portfolio of skills, and in increasing your knowledge base. During scheduled breaks, you will be able to listen to several of your peers as they present their Poster Presentations. Our exciting day will conclude with an Afternoon Keynote address by Faye Alexander Nelson.

As you earn 8 PDU's for this day long event, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a continental breakfast, seated lunch and all day refreshments.

Other major benefits are:

  • Widen knowledge horizon
  • Learn the best practices in various spheres of business
  • Prepare to face the challenges of the next wave of project management
  • Connect better to the project management community
  • Learn the latest project management tools and techniques
  • Achieve true customer focus by defining standards throughout the project life cycle

We extend our gratitude and thanks to the sponsors and member/non-member participation whose invaluable support makes this event possible each year.

If you have any questions, please email them to: symposium@pmiglc.net.
